NBC "Scattergories" question
« on: November 19, 2003, 09:23:18 PM »
Here's one for the GSF gang: did they ever reveal, on NBC's Scattergories, just how they decided who was on that five-person "jury" (or who they were, for that matter)?  (For all I know, they were just the producers' neighbors...)

I think I remember Dick Clark saying that former Scattergories contestants sometimes made up the jury.

I thought they were plucked out of the studio audience.

I remember Dick also saying they had former contestants, or at least at first. I distinctly remember it from the first ep. and asking myself how you could have "former contestants" on the premiere.
"They're both Norman Jewison movies, Troy, but we did think of one Jew more famous than Tevye."

Now celebrating his 22nd season on GSF!

I believe they made no mention of that panel until the second week. Certainly they didn't appear on the premeire. (of all the episodes I taped when it was on, that's the only one I've been able to find since about 1995)
